X-Series Cavalry Shank Bits

Dale Martin X-Series Cavalry Shank 5/8” California Copper Roller Bars. 8” Cheeks 5” Mouth. 1-3/4” Port height. This stainless steel shank gives the traditional cavalry style a bold new appeal. The heavier shank is great for horses that like to feel the bit. When the curb strap is tightened, this shank provides good leverage. The rotating ball design keeps the bit from pinching the corners of the mouth. This well balanced and solid design helps to lift and stabilize the shoulders. The bar diameter is large and coated in copper which softens the control. This port will apply a slight amount of palate pressure and tongue relief leading to a better headset and more lift when the mouthpiece rotates.
