Molly Powell Smooth Run 3/8" Smooth S.I. Snaffle 9" Cheeks, 5 1/2" Mouth. This is my idea of the ultimate barrel racing competition bit. I can put it on a soft mouthed horse using a flat curb chain and get a well balanced smooth run out of him. Then, as I shorten the curb chain, I can step up the severity of the bit and gain more control if I need it. I have used this bit on young and old horses to coin a lot of money.
