There is one area mom that isn't taking Waylan and Willie's advise because her babies are sure to grow up to be cowboys and cowgirls, especially when they are practically living in their very own 60,000 sq. ft. horse arena.
'We wanted to invest in our kids' says Kristi Small, who, along with her husband Tony, built Flying Cow Arena, north of Grove, OK. And invest they did! The 200'X300' arena is state of the art and has everything a horse lovin' rodeo family could ask for.
In addition to the huge arena, the two story facility has the look and feel of a lodge. All under one roof but separated from the arena by glass windows is a full service café/kitchen complete with a built-in smoker, a huge chandelier built from various antlers suspended above the many picnic tables, a fireplace, a big screen TV where visitors can sit and watch videos of past local, state and national roping events, roping dummies where the youngsters can practice and a basketball goal with space to run and play.
