Wild Turkey Stew
Serves 10
Ingredients
5 Potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 Onion, chopped
1 Cup - Frozen Peas
1 Cup - Frozen Cubed Carrots
1 1/2 Pounds - Turkey
8-10 Instant Biscuits
2 Cups - Chicken Stock
3 Tablespoon - Salt
3 Tablespoon - Water
1 Tablespoon - Butter
Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. In large stew pot, combine potatoes,
onions and chicken stock. Bring to a boil add turkey. Cook till
tender, add peas and carrots. Season to taste. n a separate container,
mix flour and cold water till smooth. Stir into pot while still boiling.
Remove from heat. Spoon turkey mixture into mugs till 2/3
full. Place biscuit top and brush with melted butter. Babe uncovered for
20 to 25 minutes or until
biscuit is golden brown.
Or Cook on the grill over medium-high, indirect heat [no coals or
burners on directly under the Campfire Mugs], Place foil on grill. Then
cook wth grill cover on.
