So what is a “cowboy church”? Good question. We have been trying to answer that one for over a decade. Here at Bar Cross Cowboy Church our goal is have a church where every feels welcome. Where everyone has a place. Where everyone is known. If you have never been to Bar Cross Cowboy Church, then you are in for a pleasant surprise when you come visit us. Our mission statement helps keep us focused on the things which were also important to Jesus. In other words, ” we exist to create a church that unchurched people love to attend”. In order to accomplish this we work very hard to present Jesus truthfully yet understandably. Although we are a “cowboy church” we are more like a community church because of our focus on people. The Bar Cross family is a fellowship of people that are some of the most genuine and loving folks you have ever had the pleasure of knowing. No matter what kind of church you call it, the people are what makes our group what it is.
