Arena Information
Limestone County Fairgrounds is home to the annual Limestone County Youth Fair and UPRA Rodeo. This multi-use facility currently plays host to a wide variety of events each.

Built primarily as a Livestock Show Facility complete with portable Show Rings, cattle tie stalls, and small animal pens, the areas of the main building can be reconfigured to serve most any event. The Fairgrounds also houses a fully functional Rodeo Arena (140 x 240) with 6 bucking chutes, roping boxes, seating for 1,000, concession stand and dining area, office, climate controlled announcer booth, warm-up area, cattle pens, and wash rack.
The Annex is an air-conditioned 2,000 sq. ft. building with two
meeting rooms, office space, and restrooms. Perfect for hosting
receptions or meetings during your event.
The facility is located on 30 acres of Limestone County owned land with approximately 8 acres of graveled parking fronting the Farm to Market Road 1245E. Additional tree-shaded parking is available on the east and south sides of facility.
The arena ground is a sand/clay mixture which can be
prepared for the event of your choice. Ground preparation
equipment includes: Reveal 4-n-1 Drag, Arena Works Rotary
Harrow, King Kutter Disc, Riata Rake, Frontier Tiller and more.
Adjacent to the main building are 40 covered horse stalls with solid metal bottom and bars on top. Stalls are lighted with water available on each row. There are also 22 paneled stalls inside the main building for use as needed. Shavings are allowed but not available on the grounds.
For livestock shows, Priefert cattle tie stalls, hog and sheep pens are used. These stalls and pens are set up adjacent to the main arena, which can be divided into smaller show rings. Electricity and water are available throughout the facility.
20 RV spaces are available on the west side of the parking lot. Each hookup is equipped with water and 30 amp electric service. Four of the spaces have 50 amp service also. These RV spaces are within easy walking distance of the horse stalls and main building. Spaces are available for rent at any time during the year.
Additional parking for RV’s without service are available on the east and south sides of the parking lot, some with tree shading.
